TOWN OF SMITHFIELD NOTICE OF ADOPTED ORDINANCES Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Smithfield, pursuant to the provisions of Article II, Sections C-2.13 (b) and (d) of the Home Rule Charter of the Town of Smithfield, has adopted the following New Ordinances and Ordinance Amendments: #2011-1 Chapter 225 – New Ordinance – Regulation of Illicit Discharges into the Municipal Storm Drainage System, Sections 225-1 through 225-16; Adopted by The Town Council on January 4, 2011. #2011-2 Chapter 294 – Ordinance Amendment – Sewers, Article II, 294-12: Subdivisions, Planning Board Appeals and Article VI, 294-40: Sewer Authority Appeals; Adopted by the Town Council on January 4, 2011. #2011-3 Chapter 53 – New Ordinance - Asset Management Commission, Sections 53-1 through 53-5; Adopted by the Town Council on April 5, 2011. #2011-4 Chapter 321 – Article 5, Section 321-14 - New Ordinance –Dejana Tax Agreement Adopted by the Town Council on June 21, 2011. #2011-5 Chapter 325-6 – New Ordinance – 99 Year Tobin Lease Adopted by the Town Council on August 9, 2011. #2011-6 Chapter 236 – Ordinance Amendment - Licensing, Business, Article I, Sections 236-1 to 236-5: When fees paid, victualling license, hours generally. Adopted by Town Council on September 20, 2011. #2011-7 Chapter 321- Article 5, Section 321-15 – New Ordinance on the Establishment of a Tax Agreement with United Rentals, North America, Inc. Adopted by Town Council on October 4, 2011. #2011-8 Chapter 321, Ordinance Amendment – Taxation: Article II Tax Exemption – Tax Freeze – Amendment to Frozen Taxes Formula. Adopted by Town Council on October 4, 2011. #2011-9 Chapter 118 – New Ordinance – Article IX – Location of licensed premises, Section 118-13: Prohibited Location. Adopted by Town Council on November 1, 2011. #2012-1 Chapter 294, Article V, Sewer Revenue Bonds, Section 294-36 New Ordinance approving and authorizing the Issue of Not-to-Exceed $7,700,000 Sewer Revenue Bonds for the Purposes of Financing Improvements to the Town’s Sewer System.
